Notes:
•Several teams stayed in the rankings for this division since their losses were all to teams ranked higher. The list includes St. Mary’s (lost to De La Salle), Granite Bay (lost to Vacaville) and Del Campo (lost to Rocklin).
•Previous No. 6 Del Oro of Loomis fell to 1-3 after a loss to D1 Oak Ridge of El Dorado Hills. The other team that dropped was previous No. 8 Cardinal Newman, which was blanked 34-0 by D1 Valley Christian of San Jose.
•Head coach Terry Stark’s Wing-T at Inderkum is proving to be every bit as explosive as last season. The Tigers have reached 63 points exactly in all three of their outings so far – 63-12 vs. Chavez of Stockton, 63-13 vs. Florin of Sacramento and 63-21 vs. Riordan of San Francisco. We may not find out just how good Inderkum is, however, until the team hosts D1 Monterey Trail of Elk Grove in two weeks.
