The Bulldogs enter the field at their home opener against the Laguna Creek Cardinals. A long Vacaville tradition has four players carrying "Big Black" on their shoulders to mid-field. Then to the familiar strains of AC/DC's "Back in Black", the Bulldogs take the field to get ready to battle the Cardinals.
Since opening night was also "Youth Football Night", all members of the youth football programs took the field and helped welcome the Varsity Bulldogs into Tom Zunino Stadium, the home of the Bulldogs.
